Snowflake Challenge: Day 8
(I am going to dance back and do day 7 today at some point, possibly in conjunction with the January meme, since the next prompt I have up I want to do fic for. But here goes.)
Day 8
In your own space, make a list of at least 3 things that you like about yourself. Leave a comment in this post saying you did it. Include a link to your post if you feel comfortable doing so.
I am far from the first person to say this, but I kind of hate this question. My self-esteem issues are epic and all-consuming and that's without getting into the part where my sense of self is kind of screwed up. But I am trying to get all the days done, so here goes nothing, I guess.
1. I am a good sounding board for creative things, particularly writing/worldbuilding/project-y stuff. I ask decent questions and am encouraging and generally have been told by a couple of people that I am helpful, and I like being of creative use.
2. I am good at Tarot. I doubt myself on most things, but I have a lot of experience and pretty decent intuition and I think I am pretty damn good with the cards.
3. I am learning to be a pretty decent cook. I'm not particularly creative about it, but so far I have not really made anything inedible or awful, which is a win.

It's so hard to find people who are good at that sort of thing.
And being a good cook is aces too. We all need to feed ourselves, and its hard if you don't enjoy it and make good food.
