New beginnings, learning, being open to things -- the feeling I'd get here is that the way to build community is not necessarily by pushing leadership or expertise, but by promoting sharing of questions and knowledge both. Look for new things, and when in the midst of them, look for both those willing to reach out, and others who are new and willing to share.
