More Joy Day Rec Party
It's More Joy Day. I wanted to try and write or make something today, but I'm not sure that's happening, because it's a shit health day and I'm still weeks behind where I should be on all my lists.
However, you know what I can do at the drop of a hat? I can rec things. So come here, let's have a rec party.
Comment with something you'd like recs for. It doesn't even have to be fannish; it can be as general or as specific as you want. You can ask for fic, vids, icons, movies, tv shows, books, music, prompt lists -- whatever crosses your mind. I do not have an encyclopedic knowledge of all things, so if you ask for stuff I'm not as good with (where to buy stuff, podcasts, video games, recipes, specific fannish recommendations for fandoms I don't really inhabit) I may flounder a little, but feel free to try anyway.
If you want to toss in a please-avoid-or-warn-for, that's helpful. Feel free to ask for multiple things; in fact, if you're getting really specific, that's the best way to make sure I can help with something. And while I'm gonna try and shove things at everyone, if you see a request that you have a perfect rec for, go for it.

Just a question: Do you want me to avoid fandoms you're not familiar with, and if so, do you have a fandom list I can poke at? And if I can free-for-all the fandoms (and I can try and stick to works you don't really need to know the fandom for where possible, in the case), are there any fandoms you want me to avoid?
(A LOT of my reading has been in MCU lately, with yeaaaars in Harry Potter and an interest in Sherlock and White Collar when I was doing a lot of reading meaning I have a pretty big catalog in those three as well, but I can definitely branch out and provide a multi-fandom experience beyond just those four.)
