[Tarot] Two more things....
About the one-card draw offers I made at the end of March, which I will be doing today and tomorrow:
1. I'm in the middle of drafting a post for
2017revival, so if you're new here, hi! Feel free to come ask for a card! (And if you're not new but didn't ask before, feel free also.)
2. In the time since making the post, I have lost Omegaland -- which is fine, since nobody requested it -- and also gained a copy of the Welcome to Night Vale tarot deck. If you're waiting on a draw and would like the Night Vale deck, feel free to go say so; if I've gotten to your draw before you saw that it was an option and would like to ask for a second card from Night Vale, also feel free.

... I assumed this was a card ask, so!

I often refer to this as the "crying over spilled milk" card. It's a time of loss and grief, often mourning someone or something lost; but it's also a reminder to take a look at what you still have, and not get hung up on what's gone. Take your time to cry and miss things - some grieving is natural and healthy - but also remember to cherish what's left, and to move forward instead of unhealthily getting endlessly tied up in the grief.

This card represents crossroads or decisions of some kind to be made -- and the advice here often depends on the situation. If you've just found yourself at a crossroads or it's signaling an approaching situation, it's a signal to slow down, think things through thoroughly, and not act on gut impulses; on the other hand, if there's a decision you've been putting off making, this card can be a signal that it's time to steel yourself, be ready to cut your losses, and take action.
