to-do list / worldbuilding and writing priorities

I read, family'd, and then slept through day one of my two days off. Whoops. Now it's 9 am, I am a T-minus 25 hours till I have to go back to bed for Wednesday work, and it is time to do things. Things that are not making rainbowfic prompt lists cause that's definitely the only thing I did in the last three-ish hours.

general week to-do:

• Pay hospital + physicians for the month.


• Figure out what I am indulging myself in bookbuying wise. (Pocket Apocalypse is almost a definite even if I don't have a clear enough head to really get into it right now; Violet and Claire, I Was a Teenage Fairy, and Boy Meets Boy are all contenders for #2.)


• Talk to my mother about moving and haircuts.


• Job applications.


• Start project 'Catch Up on Night Vale Before Live Show'.

worldbuilding priorities:

• Sentient Magic: Find the damn list of magic notes and ways it manifests. It's gotta be somewhere, I remember seeing it recently.


• Angelic Tribes: Sort through info and write up descriptions for each of the seven tribes.


• Come Stand Be Me: Major players in the traditional magic community and in the younger magical community.


• Don't Be Afraid of a Little Bit of Progress: Start characters lists and notes on what's going on with magic.


• With Only Strangers Watching: Characters list.


• Shared Universes: Write up brief summaries for each one to stick on the verse list.


• Shared Universes: Start writing out lists of notes for my kids in each one for my own/cowriter's reference.

• No Child is Spared: Finish the '3 times Dave stubborned himself into the hospital' fic.


• NCiS: Five things that never happened to the boys.


• NCiS/DMT: The one where Meg is Teddy's guardian angel.


• This City's Got Grace: Backstory fic for Jordan.


• TCGG: Bobby and Shell.


• Fanfic: MCU: The one where I rip off Memento's structure and Steve is dreaming of parallel universes in the ice.


• Fanfic: MCU: Trans!Steve which started with one scene and is spiraling into being epic in my head.

I still need to try and get something written. >< I did some worldbuilding stuff but no actual writing. Bah.
