Finding my goddess took longer than it really should have, in retrospect, but I was a tiny little idiot when I first got into Wicca soooo.
Okay, so I was about fourteen when I first became interested in Wicca. I did a lot of study and decided to seriously commit at about seventeen or so. I then began on and off looking for a particular deity to devote myself to. I mostly did this by doing a lot of reading about mythology and looking for anything I felt a connection to, and then doing more research and reading until I got a definite yea or nay. It was always a nay, though.
Then I was nineteen and at a Renaissance Faire, walking around and looking at all the arts and crafts available, when I saw this carving:
It was 100$. I did not have 100$. It was supposed to be mine so I bought it anyway.
I'd always liked and been close to horses, so it really should not have been a surprise that Epona was my goddess, so I still can't believe it took me two years. XD
