So I've been taking my antibiotics one pill, twice a day, for seven of the prescribed ten days.

Today I realized I was supposed to take TWO pills per dose.

I do not know what I do now. Take two for the next three days? Keep going til I finish them? Something else?

Any advice, anyone?

Call the doctor/clinic who prescribed it (there should be a phone number for the doctor/clinic on the label of the bottle) and find out. It'll be a pain in the ass, but it's the only way to be sure.

Or, if you're feeling better enough, take the correct dose until the pills run out and see if the infection's gone. If it comes back, tell the next doctor what happened with the pills.

If you aren't feeling much better at all, definitely call the doctor. You'd probably be going back in a week, anyway.

I'm already doing a LOT better; I think I'm just going to take them til they run out. If I was still feeling shitty I'd be worried, but I'm really not -- a little stiff but okay.
